Use the Field Trip Resource Guide to Plan Your Next Clark County School District Field Trip!
This section of the website is for teachers desiring information on field trip opportunities in Southern Nevada.
The Educators Field Trip Resource Guide is a searchable resource that was compiled as part of the Education About the Environment Strategy, a conservation initiative funded by the Southern Nevada Agency Partnership, which is comprised of the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and U.S. Forest Service. The UNLV Public Lands Institute (PLI) manages the program on behalf of the federal agencies. Use this guide to help plan your next field trip in Clark County.
- Many education sites in Clark County, including museums, parks, and aquaria, offer organized programs as part of a planned curriculum-based field trip.
- Each organized field trip program is linked to Nevada state curriculum standards, so you can use this website to find which programs will best fulfill your learning objectives.
Photos of the golden-mantled ground squirrel, chuckwalla, desert tortoise, and damselfly are courtesy of Dr. Jim Boone.
